Collection

The Bilbao Municipal Library Network collection comprises over 400,000 volumes in a number of different formats: books, periodicals (journals, magazines etc.), audiovisual material (DVDs, CDs, etc.), multimedia documents (CD-ROM...), music scores etc.

Consulting the catalogue

The catalogue contains all topics, and is permanently updated. All documents are available for consultation and borrowing. You can consult location and availability in the automated catalogue.

Avialability of documents

The following show the status of each document:

For loan: The document is for loan.

On loan: The document is out on loan.

Unable to loan: the document isn´t for loan, it only can be consulted in the library.

Unavailable: the document is being purchased, processing, expurgated...
