The Bilbao Municipal Library Network is open to everyone, and its services providing access to information, culture and knowledge are free.
The network consists of
16 libraries:
- The library helps you individually to find useful information on anything which interests you.
- It provides you with a complete collection of over 400,000 volumes in different formats: books, magazines, CDs, CD-ROMs, DVDs etc., including all topics, and it is permanently updated for you to look for the material you want at the library, or borrow them from the library.
- It arranges courses and tours to show you the library services and the information available, new technology, Internet, databases and our computerised catalogue.
- It organises cultural activities, workshops etc. for you.
- It gives you access to Internet, ofimatics and databases.
