En la víspera de su boda, la bella cantante de ópera Malvina van Stille es secuestrada por el misterioso Dr. Droz. Tiempo después, el inocente afinador de pianos Felisberto llega a la mansión de Droz para poner a punto a los extraños autómatas que allí trabajan... Peculiar relato fantástico poético con espléndidas imágenes, protagonizado por el excelente actor bilbaíno de carrera internacional César Sarachu.

The day before her wedding, the beautiful opera singer Malvina van Stille is kidnapped by the mysterious Dr. Droz. A long time later, the innocent piano tuner Felisberto arrives at Droz's mansion to tune up the odd automatons working there. Peculiar fantasy film with splendid pictures, played by César Sarachu, excellent actor from Bilbao with international career.

Berdinak diren anaia biki hauek AEBetan jaio ziren arren, Europan ari dira lanean. Jan Svankmajer-en jarraitzaile amorratu hauek, ospe handia lortu zuten animaziozko zenbait laburmetraiarekin. Oso desberdinak diren arte-lanak egin eta 1995ean, Institute Benjamenta, aktoreekin egindako lehendabiziko luzemetraia zuzendu zuten. 2005ean, Lorcano eta Sitges-en aurkeztu zuten The Piano Tuner of Earthquakes egin zuten, ekoizle exekutibo lanetan Terry Gilliam izan zutelarik.

Gemelos idénticos, nacen en Estados Unidos pero desarrollan su carrera en Europa. Grandes admiradores de Jan Svankmajer, adquieren gran prestigio con diversos cortometrajes de animación. Autores de trabajos artísticos muy diversos, dirigen en 1995 Institute Benjamenta, su primer largometraje en imagen real, seguido en 2005 por The Piano Tuner of Earthquakes, presentado en Locarno y Sitges, que cuenta con Terry Gilliam como productor ejecutivo.

These identical-twin brothers were born in USA but develop their career in Europe. Deep admirers of Jan Svankmajer, they become notorious thanks to several short animation films. Authors of very different sorts of artistic works, they directed in 1995 the film Institute Benjamenta, their first long live-action feature, followed in 2005 by The Piano Tuner of Earthquakes, presented at Locarno and Sitges, whose executive producer is Terry Gilliam.
